The European Board of Gastroenterology and Hepatology (EBGH)

Every Section has the right to create its own Board to address scientific and training interests. Each Section may create its own European Board as a working group with the aim to guarantee the highest standards of care in the field of the speciality in the countries of the European Union, by ensuring that the training is raised to the highest possible level.

The routine business of the ESBGH is carried out by an Executive Committee, composed of the President of the Section, the President of the Board, the Secretary-General and the Treasurer.  The Section and the Board meet twice a year – in the spring and autumn.
